TRAVEL Vaccinations

This service is available for registered patients of Travis Medical Centre only.

If you’re travelling overseas, it’s important to check what vaccinations you may need for your destination. Our doctors and nurses can help you plan a safe and healthy trip.

Step 1: Complete our Travel Vaccination Information Form (below).
Once we receive your form, Nurse Sue – who has a special interest and extensive experience in travel vaccinations – will review your travel plans, research the vaccinations required for your destination, and check your vaccination history.

There is a $20 pre-consultation fee, which covers the nurse’s time preparing this advice.

Important Information

  • Pre-consultation fee: $20 (covers review of your travel plans, vaccination history, and preparation of recommendations).
  • Vaccine costs: Prices vary by vaccine and must be paid before your vaccination appointment.
  • Available vaccines: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Tetanus, and Polio.
  • Timing: Please contact us at least one month before you travel to allow time for planning and vaccine scheduling.
  • Note: We are not a Yellow Fever or Rabies–authorised practice. For these, please contact a travel clinic such as Merivale Medical or Moorhouse Medical.
  • Availability: Nurse Sue is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If these days don’t suit, please contact another travel clinic for your vaccination needs.
